The key to a successful gas tight store is producing a high quality, durable CA door. ICA have been using their own design CA door for over 25 years, which can be as big as 4m wide x 6m high. This door is made on site due to its size and weight. The ICA door is the only CA door available that can be constructed to such a large size.
ICA are also UK agents for the Salco range of gas tight doors, which offer a state of the art patented design using an inflatable continuous rubber inner seal and a protective, flexible shield. This design provides excellent gas tightness due to the inflated seal pressing against both the walls and floor. These doors also include double glazed inspection windows, which are used to inspect produce and also to take samples from the store throughout the storage period.
